My 4 Favorite Albums of 2016

2016 was an awesome year for music.

These albums shared are placed in no specific order, as we found it hard to choose which one we liked more than others. They’re uniquely cool in their own ways, and we thought that putting them in a specific order wouldn’t do them justice.

Without further adieu, here is a list of our favorite albums of 2016:

1. The 1975 – I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It

I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It is a reinvention of the band’s previous album. The 1975’s music is well loved by fans, and panned well by critics. Many have placed this album high on their top music lists of 2016, with numerous others claiming it as the soundtrack of their life.

2. Emarosa – 131

Emarosa’s release of 131 broke numerous records, which shows why the band is at the level they’re at in music. Our favorite song on the album is “Blue” and we’re not alone on that, as others have stated it as their favorite as well.

3. Moose Blood – Blush

Moose Blood’s Blush is what we consider an innovation in music, conquering the hearts of people around the world. Their music is majestic in nature, but its ability to overcome emotion. The vibe of their music has the ability to take you back to previous time periods. Moose Blood have weird way of being able to mess with people’s emotions.

4. Cane Hill – Smile

Our favorite song on the album is “Strange Candy”. The song’s musical effects blurred the lines between genres of rock and pop. In our opinion, this helped the song gain popularity much faster than others featured on the album.

Undoubtedly, 2016 was an outstanding year for music. These popular albums were released in 2016, but will stand as our overall favorites for the rest of time.
